There is a risk that the cardboard could catch fire in the oven while baking the Pizza. Even if the cardboard does not burst into flames, it could scorch and ruin the pizza. Another problem is that the cardboard would hold moisture underneath the pizza resulting in a soggy crust.
hows it going
No it will catch fire
Absolutely!
Take it out of the box and heat pizza in the oven for about 10 minutes.
well it is really simple. you just have to buy a pizza box. my 4th grade classmates and i are doing it. when you have the pizza box, draw a 1 inch BORDER. not FRAME, but BORDER. then cut the edges except the top. pull it up so i creates a flap. put tin foil on the flap. put plastic on the open cut part. put black paper on the bottom and- BAM! you have a pizza box oven! it makes perfect s`mores! yum yum! place it out in the sun and wait an hour and 45 minutes. good luck making it! the grease in the pizza helps so that it doesn't stick to the box
box
its a general box. pizza restaurants can have it, and schools can too
For a solar oven you want to maximize the reflector/collector surface area, (more sunlight=more heat) and minimize the oven volume (less air/stuff to heat up with said heat) to get more rapid heating. If you are painting the box black, and lining the inside with foil to hold the heat in(or a similar design), the pizza box has more area exposed to the sun, and since it is thinner probably has the same inside volume as the shoe box. If you're opening the box and using it as a foil lined lens, the pizza box is again better, as it can gather more sunlight. The shoe box's only advantage is it has the ability to hold a small chicken, but for most cooking purposes the Pizza box is the best option. Really an "ideal" lens shape (like a satellite dish) would work best to focus the sun on one spot. If you made a foil covered dish, and put a your food at the focal point, this would work the fastest. a Google search on lenses could give more specifics if you go this route.
in a pizza box
It supports the box from being squished into the pizza
10 inches, assuming the pizza box is square. If the area is 100 in2, then each side must be 10 inches long. Since the pizza goes from the end of the box to the other side, it is also 10 inches in diameter.
There are no pizza recipes available on the Get Hot Box Pizza website as they only sell pizza crusts and pizza sauces. They may have some pizza recipes available on their blog from time to time.
