Why do the humans need oxygen?

Humans need oxygen to survive and think. If you dont have enoff oxygen for your brain it will stop working and you will eventually die.Humans also need oxygen sso that they can breath out carbon dioxide. If we didnt have oxygen we wouldnt have carbon dioxide.Carbon Dioxide is the thing that plants breath in.So if we didnt have oxygen plants would die.And then the animals that eat plants will die. Then the animals that eaet does animals will die.And we are omnivore(means we eat plants and animals)so if there were no plants and animals we will die of hunger That is why we need oxygen Patronum483 :)

What is the final electron acceptor in photosynthesis?

in the process of respiration, the final acceptor of electrons is molecular oxygen.

Does a plants waste products pass into the ground to its' roots?

Some of it can but some plant waste products are the gas (oxygen) and water given off in the process of photosynthesis. Oxygen is not reused by them but by animals like humans. If stems and leaves fall off the plant that can be reused.

Why do plants give out oxygen in the day and carbon dioxide in the night?

Plants are living things and their metabolism constantly 'burns' food using Oxygen and producing CO2, they do this all the time, day and night. However, during the day plant is bombarded by photons (i.e. light). The light allows the plant to photosynthesise, turning CO2 and water into Hydrocarbons for food and releasing Oxygen. The amount of Oxygen produced is surplus to its metabolic requirements and is therefore released into the atmosphere. At night photosynthesis closes down because there is no light so the plant consumes oxygen and releases CO2 like animals. However, please note that there are a special group of plants (plants that live in desert climates) that have modified how and when they take up CO2.In this special group of plants (called CAM plants) the CO2 enters the plant at night and is stored by the plant in special structures. This stored CO2 is then used for photosynthesis during the day but the plant takes in no new CO2 during daytime. The CAM plants do this so as to prevent water loss during the hot daytime hours.

What are outdoor plants?

well all plants are really outdoor plants, remember we didnt always live in houses, so the question should be, what are indoor plants. indoor plants dont need much sun light (direct) for photosynthisis to occur, the process which plants use to turn sun light into food, hope this helps

Do plants produce food without any oxygen?

They dont need oxygen to produce food (Glucose), they use carbon dioxide to produce this but they do need oxygen to respire and get energy from the food that they produuced. The process by which food is produced is called photosynthesis.

How do flower produce nectar?

Flowers produce oxygen that they dont needas part of a process they use to make food. What is the name of this process

What can living things do?

1.They can produce food. 2.They can grow. 3.They can produce oxygen. This is only for plants who produce food Animals can find their own food they can not produce it. they grow and develop and they dont produce oxygen

How do flowers create air?

Flowers dont create air; plants are able to produce (or recycle - whichever way you look at it), Oxygen from water and carbon dioxide through the process of photosysnthesis.

Why dont animals use up all the oxygen in the atmosphere?

Animals do not use up all the oxygen in the atmosphere because plants produce oxygen. When they breathe, plants inhale carbon dioxide (which is what animals breathe out) and exhale oxygen (which is what animals breathe in).

How do flowering plants produce?

They dont produce sexualy. They produce asexually.

How do flowering plants produce sexually?

They dont produce sexualy. They produce asexually.

What plants don't produce protein?

plants dont have the enzyme that folds the protein in the exact manner(3-D) structure so they dont produce protein

Why do plants use oxygen in germination?

Ok! First,Germination is the process of fungi, bacterie, also seeds to grow. Second, plants need to use oxygen to grow because of the fresh air so they can suck the air inside of them to create process to grow properly. if they dont use any oxygen, they won't grow grow and they will die soon.

Does a pine tree produce oxygen?

All trees (in fact, all photosynthetic plants including algae) absorb atmospheric or dissolved carbon dioxide and put oxygen back. Plants and their ancestors are the reason we're all here - without them, animal life could not exist. (It's possible that you're getting confused by plant respiration, in which plants do indeed produce small quantities of carbon dioxide, but that applies to all plants at night, not pine trees specifically.)

How do plants grow in outer space?

i dont think thay can grow because the plants need oxygen and there is not oxygen in outer space

Does non green plants have process of photosynthesis?

no non green plants dont photosynthesize only green plants do i havent figured out which types dont
