That term, also known as PvE, is the designation of the type of server you are playing on. In a PvE server, PvP (Player vs. Player) fighting is only active in battlegrounds or when you are 'flagged,' which can only be done in a contested or enemy territory. Being 'flagged' allows attack from the enemy at any time, until the time limit runs out and you become unflagged. PvE servers are excellent for those who wish to roleplay as well.
No, World of Warcraft is a MMORPG - a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game , BUT you do play against the computer when playing PVE - player vs environment. It's in PVP - player vs player, that you have to have others to play against.
Warcraft Movies is a website where players of the MMORPG, World or Warcraft can post videos of their gameplay for other players to watch. This website offers player competition videos where there can be one player vs. another or 2v2 and 3v3.
You can find the latest P.V.E, which is an abbreviation for "Player VS. Environment" at World of Warcraft's personal website. They have also have a collection of character heroes to browse through with list of features about them. You can also visit realms and compare them at their personal website. Hope this helped.
There are four server types, PvP = player vs player aka. alot og dueling , normal = normal lvling, RP = roleplay and RPPvP = roleplaying with alot of player vs player.

All servers have similarities, so there isn't really a "best" server...It's just what works for you. If you are wanting to get into the 'role-playing' of the game, then you may want to look into a Role-Playing (RP) Server. If you want to just do the quests and get into some Player-Vs-Player action sometimes, then you want a Regular (R) Server. If you are looking for mainly Player-Vs-Player with no real focus on leveling except to get to the point where you can do lots of fighting with other players, then go for a Player-Vs-Player (PVP) Server. If you are looking for both Role-Playing and Player-Vs-Player, do a Role-Playing-Player-Vs-Player (RPPVP) Server. Good Luck
Best location to go after level 27 depends on faction and gaming style. For Eastern Kingdoms - I suggest Arathi Highlands if you have trouble with player vs. player. If you aren't worried about that then Hillsbrad Foothills and Stranglethorn Vale are very popular. For Kalimdor - I suggest Ashenvale and Thousand Needles.
Yes, you can daowanload
