The 1989 Cutlass Ciera modern production spark plugs are pre-gapped from the factory and should not be altered. The OEM AC Delco Professional Platinum #41805 for this engine comes pre-gapped at .045 inches for reference purposes.
Plug gap is .060 inches or 1.52 mm
with a spark plug sockett
You fail mention which engine. Look at the link to the right and choose the correct engine.
If its a Olds Cutlass Supreme, its a fairly easy process. Grab the turn signal stalk firmly near its base. Gently wiggle, and slightly twist while pulling it out. Replace with the new stank and plug in the small plug at the base of the stalk. And your done If you are talking about a Olds Cutlass Ciera, its not a easy process, and I pay to get it done.
You put them on in the right order again.
Check your cylinder pressure with a compression gauge. The gauge will hook up to your spark plug openings.
There is no transmission drain plug. You have to drop the entire pan to change the fluid. Always change the filter while you have the pan off and clean any metal shavings from the pan.
Mounted to a relay thats screwd in to the plastic glovebox. just open it unscrew the screws and take it out and you will see the relay attatched to the glovebox.
Raise the vehicle and locate the speed sensor. Remove the electrical plug. Turn the speed sensor counterclockwise and remove it. Install the new speed sensor.

hope this helps..on this question, my problem was a loose wire on the flat plug that is attached to the battery cable. apparently the stereo installation people pulled this plug apart too roughly and loosened the connection. it later came apart inside the plug, causing my headlights, door locks, to not function.
The transmission drain plug is actually not located on the 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. This car has a transmission pan that has to be removed rather than a drain plug.
