Pokemon can be migrated from any of these games: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, LeafGreen, and FireRed. They can be migrated to any of these games: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, and, just guessing here, HeartGold and SoulSilver. To migrate, you must have a Nintendo DS or DS Lite. Not compatible beaten the elite four (and the champion) and construction on Pal Park must be complete. Once you have done these things, insert the Game Pak in the Gameboy Slot (located at the bottom of your DS). Insert your DS game in the top slot. Access the game menu (Continue, New Game, Mystery Gift, ect.) and select Migrate. The Pokemon you migrate must come from storage and not your party. Tap the Pokemon you wish to migrate (six at a time) and follow the instructions on your screen. After migration, visit the Pal Park and re-catch the Pokemon. You can also win prizes this way.

And always remember, once migrated, Pokemon cannot be returned to their home games.

You have to have the Pokemon platinum,diamond,pearl,soulsilver,or heart gold games.In platinum,diamond,and pearl,you must see all 210 sinnoh Pokemon,talk to professor rowan,and then professor oak will come in,the 2 prof. will talk then rowan will say pall park is open:pal park is located at the bottom of the map at the end of the branch off from sangem town:moves needed-surf:Pokemon lvs-40 to 50 all water opponents___In SS and HG you must travel to the kanto region and beat the fuchsia gym leader then i think pal park will open.___to migrate you must have the desired "migrate Pokemon"(6 of them at once in your GBA PC)you will need a DS lite,put both games in the system and turn on the DS game,the main menu(where you select your profile)should say(if you did what i told you to do ^)"migrate from(emerald,ruby,sapphire,fire red,or leaf green:gold,silver,and crystal don't work with the migration system,so trade your desired Pokemon over).press A or tap it and say yes to both questions then tap your 6 desired Pokemon then say migrate,but then cant know HMS.Once they have migrated go in pal park,talk to the guy at the counter and he will let you in.Once you have caught your Pokemon and put them in your DS PC,make sure that you save before you turn your game off or you will lose those Pokemon forever.note:Pokemon cannot return to the GBA game.
