Problem with Headsets Microphone (3.5 mm stereo)?
My new gaming-headset (astro A10) includes a microphone. It has one single 3.5 mm stereo plug. My laptop has two 3.5 mm stereo input (one for audio, one for microphone). I have an adapter(splitter) making the connection between laptop and headset possible (two 3.5 mm stereo plug, one 3.5 mm stereo input). My problem is, that the microphone doesnt work. If the microphone part of the adapter is plugged in, the microphone doesnt work. If the microphone part of the adapter isnt plugged in, sound is recorded by the standard laptop mic. Had the same problem with my former headset and solved it somehow in the settings years ago but dont know the solution anymore. Thanks for your help, I hope you can understand my problem despite my bad english skills.
