Why does the Catholic Church not help the youth so that they do not leave the Church?

There are many groups that have been instituted by the Church in order to aid Catholic youth in every aspect of their lives. Youth groups, prayer and study groups, work groups, Bible groups, various activity groups, etc. , all exist and are offered through many parishes. Before Vatican II there were many prestigious groups that existed in many countries, however, these have broken down of late as religion seems to become more individualistic and progressive. Youth have a choice, and despite all the groups and offers made available, the youth must choose to use them. One cannot force the youth to stay in the Church if they decide they wish to leave. It is part of the priest's duty to establish good groups for Catholics to interact within, especially when it seems necessary as part of the apostolate for the salvation of souls. Contact your local parish to see what is available, and if nothing is, perhaps it's time to ask the priest why?
