Dodo Soomro was the hero of Sindh who fought for sindh in order to protect the mother land sindh from the ruler of Delhi. Acutally Soomro or soomra is a tribe in sindh with the population nowadys about 1 million. The Soomra ruled Sindh from 750-1351. Their capital "Ropa Mari" was situated near the border of India. Dodo was the last ruler of soomra tribe. Who got martyrdom on the fighting with Alladin Khalji. On the place of "Ropa Mari" every year a festival is celebrated.
