Why in my rca d52w20 52 tv the menu screen keeps come on
Most sizes out there today that I have seen are the 52". They do have a 61" but I don't see that too often. The best seller is the 52" rca projection hdtv.

There is no 'reset' button on RCA televisions of this size. Depending upon the model, there may be a factory default restore function in the menus that sets the picture and sound controls back to factory settings.

There's something wrong with your convergence amplifiers and they're going out of alignment after it heats up for awhile.
No you can't remove the base. Most of the electronics are located in the base.
Best thing to do is to purchase a wiring harness for your car and stereo. They are readily available on eBay from $15. Just search for 'wiring harness'.

If the surge protector burned up, try plugging the TV into the outlet directly. You should check your fuses or circuit breaker for the TV's outlet. Sometimes a breaker trips and doesn't flip over very far.
