There should be a sticker under the hood that displays the vacuum line routing.
In line on the heater hoses on the passenger side of the engine. Has a small vacuum line to it and both heater hoses go through it. The heater hoses are smaller than the radiator hoses and go through the firwall.
First make sure you have coolant in your radiator.Pull off heater core hoses and connect a garden house to the pipe and flush it out.Check vacuum lines by the heater core hose.
a quick way is to spray some carb cleaner around all the hoses and intake and listen for a rise in rpm, and if a leak is present you'll hear a sucking sound anyways.
egr solenoid is the most common problem. The EGR Solenoid has a vacuum hose at the top running from the EGR Valve and one vacuum hose that connects to the upper intake manifold. The solenoid is brown in color. Try replacing all of the vacuum hoses before anything first for only 3.00 this could fix your problem as well. (you have a vacuum diagram on your hood)

On a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport, the vacuum hose is typically located near the engine, often running from the intake manifold to various components such as the brake booster or the HVAC system. You can find it by tracing the hoses from the intake manifold or looking for a small-diameter rubber hose connected to the brake booster on the driver's side. Be sure to inspect for any cracks or leaks, as these can affect engine performance.

The first thing to check are the vacuum hoses that go to each front wheel to activates the front wheel drive when you switch to 4 wheel. I had the same problem and it was the hoses. They replaced them and it's worked fine since. You may want to keep a spare set around. They seem to last aabout 5 - 7 years.
