On my Renaut van it means it is ready for a service. It will come on after a year or a set mileage. As i don't own a transit i can not be 100% sure but I would imagine they would all be the same.

this means that's its due a service , if you press and hold the odometer (trip) button on your dash then turn ignition on you should get a countdown from 10 to 0 then the service light will be reset, and............... the spanner has gone!!!!!
Turn the key to position 2 then hold down the brake and accelerator pedal for 15 seconds, it will then flash remove key job done!
