The low pressure line located on the firewall.
Use R134a refrigrant. The low side port is located beneath the air filter box which will have to be removed to access the port. Follow the instruction on the can.
OEM refrigrant was R12 unless it has been converted to R134a.
First off it contains no Freon refrigrant. It came from the factory with R134a refrigrant. In order to flush the system and replace the refrigrant and the oil you need special tools and equiptment. Take it to a professional. Why are you replacing it in the first place. That is never necessary.
First off it contains no Freon. The refrigrant used is not Freon R12 but is R134a. Freon is extremely expensive but R134a is around $7 per 12 ounce can.
There is one valve that is used to add refrigrant. But you had better not add Freon. Freon is R12 and your vehicle's A/C system does not have Freon (R12) as a refrigrant. More than likely it uses R134a.
First off, it does not use Freon (R12) it uses R134a or a similar product. Second, if it is low of refrigrant it has a leak that needs repairing. Take it to a professional. You cannot repair the leak and do not have the proper tools to charge the system properly.
The OEM refrigrant that is came with is R12. R12 is very expensive and no longer made so have it converted to R134a.
