first of all relieve fuel pressure at schrader valve on to back of engine, undo all wires and hoses, take off intake on top pf engine, remove the 4 bolts holding injectors on, remove electrical connectors from injectors, remove inlet line to fuel rail. Do not loose or drop O ring from fuel inlet line. just did my intake gaskets on my 3.1 that's how I know, I dropped my O ring and had to by another cause the fuel was pouring out!!
If it has one, it will be located on the fuel rail.
no gaskets, just "O" rings.
check the fuel pressure it should be at like 35 to 40 psi its like 30$ for a tester the tester hooks up on the fuel rail my 98 Chevy Malibu was only pushing 18 psi replaced it car runs great
On a 2002 GMC Sonoma, the fuel pressure regulator is typically located on the fuel rail, which is mounted on the engine. It can be found near the intake manifold, often on the driver's side. The regulator is usually attached directly to the fuel rail and may have a vacuum line connected to it. Accessing it may require removing some components for better visibility.
Fuel injectors are located on the 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer's fuel rail. The fuel rail is located behind the engine on top the of intake manifold plenum.
under top plenum on 3.1 engine at intake manifold.
With a fuel pressure test at the fuel rail.
it connects at the fuel rail.
The fuel injectors are located on the fuel rail by the Intake Manifold. If you have a 6 Cylinder than you have 6 if you have a V8 you have 8. Try to follow your fuel line and it will lead to the fuel rail and you will see your injectors are perpendicular to the fuel rail.
fuel rail leaking or on the fuel side of rail there is a "O" ring in line to seal it from leaks. if it is leaking, release fuel pressure from system, take out main fuel line to fuel rail and replace "O" ring on end of line.
the fuel pressure regulator is on the top front fuel rail facing the engine in front,, it is on the right end of the rail, it has a hose to it and it is round. it is held on by one bolt and the fuel line. good-day !
On the fuel rail--on the driver's side of the motor...
