Try grounding the radio to your car. It's that empty hole in the back that says GND.
Yes they should be interchangeable
I need to replace radio CD player from 1995 Avalon
Exchanging an OEM single CD radio with an OEM 6 CD radio is a simple upgrade which requires the use of a proper wire harness to ensure radio usability. Once the stock radio is removed from the dash the 6 CD changer will plug right into the proper OEM wire harness.
Yes but it depends which one is fitted
why the radio shows no dj no CD ? because the laser is defective CD changer needs to be repair or replace good luck
Check owner's manual. There is no CD changer fuse it gets power from the radio if the radio is on, there is some other problem with the CD changer.
there is no fuse on the CD changer of any for vehicle, they get the power from the factory radio If the radio displays NO DJ NO CD or BAD DISC that means the CD changer laser is defective and can't read the disc information nothing wrong with the magazine or the Cd's the CD changer needs to be repair or replace any car audio repair or clarion service center can fix it or you can get a rebuild unit from oemautosound
u will have too remove the radio out to get CD out. once removed pull the top cover of the radio off and pull the CD out or go to a kia dealer they have an exchange program to replace your radio/CD player u will need the radio code too if u are pulling out the radio your self. once u got your CD out throw the radio away it will give u more troubles in the future. zulux is the brand and they r crap. please recommend me if u get it out. good luck.
Yes you can install this CD changer into a 2003 Silverado. It shouldn't be too hard to remove the standard radio and replace it with this.

I need to replace the after market radio/cd player in a 2003 Chevy Cavalier. How do I get the existing radio out and install a new one. How do you remove the dash trim without damaging the retainer clips and all the other plastic parts, then install the new after market radio/cd player?
I had the same problem with my 2004 TB EXT LS V-8. The type of radio I have also included the cassette feature. My CD got stuck found out the cam that pushes the CD out broke. Was cheaper to simply replace it with a used radio. Note: Because the radio is tied into your factory security system, You will need to have the replacement radio re-coded by a Chevy dealer or it will not work.
