Disconnect the Cavaliers battery. Lift the rear of the vehicle and disconnect the fuel lines and filler pipe. Holding the fuel tank up with a jack, remove the tank straps and lower it to disconnect the electrical connection. Remove the tank and replace the fuel pump, mounted in the top of the tank.
