Freedom of Assembly
In Illinois, for statements to be admissible in criminal cases, they must be obtained with a full understanding of the suspect's Miranda rights, be voluntary, and free from coercion. Suspects have the right to an attorney, and their waiver of rights must be knowing and voluntary. Interrogations may need to be recorded, and suspects can invoke their right to remain silent or end questioning at any time. Legal counsel is essential to ensure that these requirements are met to protect a suspect's rights and to ensure the admissibility of statements in court.
Yes,you are right Alton is a city in Illinois.
The right to public education
No. The Constitution only uses the gender neutral "people" or "person" and never specifically mentions either sex, male or female. The Constitution was thus phrased to apply equally to both women and men.Contrary to common opinion, women were not denied the right to vote by the original Constitution--the individual states were left to determine their own requirements for voting. It was at the state level that women were unconstitutionally denied their right to vote. The states lost the power to exclude citizens from voting on the basis of sex with the passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920.
the constitution did not include a bill of right...
Yes. The State of Illinois abides by the 3 day right of recision.
The states/people retain the right to change the Constitution.

Illinois is an "at will" employment state. A "right to work law" is a law that says union membership cannot be required in order to obtain or retain employment. Illinois does not have a right to work law.
True, but the 9th Amendment says that the rights listed in the constitution are not the only ones that the people have. The 9th amendment means that just because the authors of the constitution may have not mentioned a certain right in that document, this is not evidence that the right doesn't really exist. Strangely, the Supreme Court didn't use the 9th Amendment when it found a "privacy right" to abortion, or to marry someone of another race, or to buy birth control. I forget what part of the constitution they cited as being the source of this right to privacy.
One right that was enumerated in the Magna Charta that is also in the US Constitution is the right to representation. The Magna Charta allowed for the formation of Parliament.
