How do you remove the inside door panel of a 2002 ford zx2?

Right, here goes.First this to do is to remove the door handle assembly. There are two (or three?) large Philips screws under removable caps around the door handle. Remove these and give the door handle and good pull. It should pull off. Disconnect the power window connectors and place the assembly aside.There should be a couple of screws around the front of the door, and a couple more along the rear edge of the door panel. Pull these out and place aside.Next, jamb a screwdriver between the bottom of the panel and the door frame (at the BOTTOM). The panel is only held in now with plastic clips. Give the panel a good tug along the bottom, and the clips will pull free. Be careful not to bend the panel too much or it will break...After you have freed all the plastic clips (they stay attached to the panel, btw) just lift the door panel UP (it hooks onto the top by the window) and it should come right off.Remember, don't force anything too much. With a little work, it will come off.Assembly is the reversse of removal.
