Well, nice is a relative word. Using traditional views of the word "nice," a "nice" mother would always support something their child(ren) do(es). They would always be there for their children, give them love and care, etc.

Also, nice doesn't always mean good and sensible. While a nice mother might give their child everything they want, a good mother would know to hold back and teach them good life lessons.

Becoming a mother is the most stupendous feeling a woman can ever experience. It is usually said a girl is born thrice during her lifetime, once, when she herself is actually born, second, when she gets married and third when she gives birth to a child.

When a girl becomes a mother she is completely transformed from a girl into a woman, her thinking matures, her meaning of life changes. When a woman delivers a child, her whole universe changes. Holding the baby in her hands, touching his tiny hands, his little nose, small feet and the feeling that the tiny creature actually came from within her is incredible.

A natural bond is developed between the mother and her child from the day the baby starts growing within her. Her heart starts beating with the tiny creature's heart in the womb. Little movements of the child within her makes her feel overwhelmed.

Giving birth to a child doesn't complete a mother but raising a child completes the picture. Raising a child needs real commitment and dedication and mothers play a lead role in this.

It is the mother who is always ready to take the hurdles in her way so that her child can go through a smooth path. She is one who sacrifices her sleep so that her child can have a restful sound sleep.

Mother is a selfless creature who not only cares for child and nurtures her child but try every possible effort to bring her child to the best. Mother is one who is always looked up to for advice at any time in the life.

Most mothers do so many things they cannot all be mentioned, but here are a few:

• When a child is very young they calm their child down when they may have nightmares and may let them sleep with her.
• They read stories to their child.
• They take care of scrapes and bruises and calm the child down when they are sick.
• They teach them right from wrong.
• They help with homework or make their child do homework for the sake of their own good.
• They attend school functions for parents such as concerts.
• They take them to sports or dance classes and cheer them on; dentists and doctors appointments, etc.
• They cook, clean, sometimes work long hours and still have time for their children.
• They worry and fret constantly over the safety of their child even long after they have left home.

A mom looks after you and REALLY REALLY cares about you, even when she's angry and shouting.
