Both are very loving and protective. Both very good watch dogs. Rottweiler is about twice the size of a pitbull. Really depends on what u want. Do u want a dog to warn u if someone brakes into ur house then get a pitbull dont get me wrong the pitbull will try and stop them but is just to small. The rottweiler will warn u and take down the robber aswell because it will weighs any were between 90-110 pounds and has a higher bite force of than any other domestic dog. I have a rottweiler and personally i love the breed they have everything. There is a reason why they are 1 of the most popular breeds in the world
