Well, actually I am a seventh grader. Based on Terra Nova (national testing in some elemantary and middle schools) scores in verbal, mathematics, and compository sections some special students get accepted to take a John Hopkins Psat or Asat or Sat early. You get into this by getting a 95 percintile or higher in the subjects above on the national tests. wich means you are smarter then 95% of the US. I would know because I was recently accepted into this program along with a handful of other students. so actually these SAT tests show the students how to prepare, compare other scores, and academicaly enhance their skills!!!! these tests don't actually count for highschool. but they do help for tracking and placing and scholarships. I hope this helps you!!! if you need more, you can always Google it!
