The phrase "filled to the brim with sorrow" could be a suitable answer to describe something that is "brimming with sadness".
Yes, you can see sadness in someone's eyes. I have seen it in the eyes of a man who keeps running from love and relationships. He would never explain what is it that bothers him, but he is full of sadness... I felt sorry for him, this sadness is pervasive and reveals something about his troubled soul... Can't explain how I see the sadness, i just do, it is there.
The difference between disappointment and sadness...Hmm... Sadness is something you feel yourself. Disappointment is when you feel unhappy with a decison someone has made.
It doesn't mean saddness, it means you feel something strong!

Tattoos are a form of art and art on your body should be inspired by happiness as a celebration, rather than sadness. You should look at your tattoo and be reminded of something which symbolises something which makes you smile, rather than being reminded of something that makes you sad everytime you look at it.
Denial and isolation (denying the loss and social withdraw)Anger (resentment to the inflicter even if deceased, or the world or oneself)Bargaining (negotiating with God to do something so the pain will go away)Depression (feeling indifferent and unresponsive even though anger and sadness is felt deep within)Acceptance (when anger, sadness & mourning have passed, one finally accepts the reality of the loss)
Everyone has to go through it. Eg.. love, worry, death, sadness...
