Why doesnt your fuel pump work on your 95 Saturn?
Blown fuse, defective fuel pump relay, or the pump itself is defective.
Why if you replaced the fuel pump in your 92 SL Saturn does it idle but when you give it gas it sputters and dies?
I found out the answer. When my husband replaced the fuel pump in the gas tank he cracked the plastic casing that the fuel pump goes into, we sent it to the shop and it work's fine now! Saturn fuel pump's are expensive it was like $250 just for the part. Thanks, MEL

When a crash is reported by the airbag computer the engine computer shuts off the ASD relay (auto shut down). The ASD relay powers the fuel pump and coil(s).
