Self-worth is the internal sense of being good enough and worthy of love and belonging from others. Simply put, it is the sense of one’s own worth or value as a person. It determines what and how you feel about yourself in comparison to other people. It controls the way you see, think and even feel about yourself. Self-worth also influences the way you act or behave.
I'm a Dutch relationship therapist, so excuse me if my English isn't always correct... People in a symbiotic relationship can only function as the others tool. Without the other one person is actually lost. He or she is not able to take care of themself. A person with a symbiosis knows no selfworth. His or her feeling about themselves is determined by how the most important person in their life feels about them.
Well it all depends on selfworth, if a women doesn't know how precious she is to you and especially to herself , there's not much you could do . But . . This is something I got tault as a child, make her write adformations . People might say what is that . Well it's simple writing the good things about yourself, for example Ok soo you would write I am beautiful , inside and out . I am loved by everyone around me . I am smart and intelligent . I am strong enough to find away to the top in any situation . I love myself . I am lucky to be alive . So have her write things like that and I hope that helps
Women entered the work force in incrediable numbers and filled jobs originally held by men. They showed in a real and unquestionable way the power and physical resources they had. They show their learning and creative abilities as well. After the war this caused much unrest when women were suddenly expected to return to being homemakes and baby tenders. Much of the strength they had almost forced upon them during the war was not going to be taken away just as quickly. African Americans underwent a somewhat similiar change. Bias and bigotry were much, much harder to overcome, but black men and women found vast resources of selfworth and power they had not had a chance to appreciate and display. There was still ( even to this day ) much racism to overcome, but it was an all important start that showed heroism, valor, knowledge and strength was not the realm of whites only.
