I don't think you can really. The most common way of separating hydrogen is electrolysis of water, but this requires huge amounts of electricity, and is therefore inefficient.

Any reaction that consumes energy, or has a positive delta(H), is called an endothermic reaction.

No. It is endothermic as it requires energy.
Water can be chemically changed, for instance, when an electric current is run through a sample, separating it into oxygen and hydrogen gas. Chemical change requires a chemical reaction, a process whereby the chemical properties of a substance are altered by a rearrangement of the atoms in the substance.Added:What is visible: it is gas bubles of hydrogen and oxygen coming out from the electrodes: O2 at the positive anode, H2 at the negative cathode.
The electronic reaction to provide light requires a large amount of electricity, which causes heat.
Desalination requires a lot of of energy or electricity, which makes it expensive.
Endothermic reaction
No. Fusion requires high concentrations of Hydrogen. Planets are made from substantially heavier elements. Additionally, a planet massive enough to begin a fusion reaction literally becomes a star.

The three gorges dam requires electricity because of its size, it also requires electricity because the electricity that it recieves from the water isnt enough to power it, so they decided to power the dam separately and send the electricity gained to the power stations.
