In a nutshell, we believe our bodies are "temples" of God and we should be caeful how we treat our bodies. Not literal temples but figurative. He made us and we should love Him enough to take care of what He gave us. Therefore we try to be careful what we eat and drink out of love and respect for Him giving us life!
We obstain for Alcoholic Beverages, many of us are vegetarians. Those of us who are not, go by what The Bible says in Leviticus and eat only clean meats.
