Should I correct the resume discrepancy that was made by mistake?

I applied for a job with a UK-based company that is opening a new office in Japan, and after going through several selection processes and a reference check, I reached the verbal offer stage. They mentioned that they would issue a written offer within 2-3 business days. However, at this point, I have one concern. Although it was not intentional, I made an error on my resume.During the second interview (in late October), I was asked about the nature of my current employment. Since I had just started the job, I did not specify the details on my CV. For some reason, I panicked and stated that I was working as a freelancer. In reality, I had started a full-time role on October 1st.The following day, in a subsequent interview, I clarified that I was full-time and explained that there was a notice period. However, during the offer discussion, the interviewer again asked about my current employment status, and I mentioned, "When I spoke to you earlier, I said I was a freelancer, but I have since switched to full-time."The issue now is that when it comes to paperwork required for joining in Japan (though not mandatory, it's customary to submit), or if another background check is performed, it could come to light that my full-time employment period is longer than what I previously explained. I’m concerned about the potential risks of this discrepancy, which serves no benefit, and I want to avoid any issues. Should I proactively bring this up with the company? If so, when and how should I explain it?
