That depends on how well they can comprehend it. I don't think it would do harm though.
Most of the books can be read by 10 year olds but Breaking Dawn is not recommended since some parts are inappropriate.
mostly mature nine year olds or ten year olds through 29 year olds though there are twilight moms and twilight grandmothers.:)

yes they can. when i was going to my old school 3ed graders were reading it. but i read it when i was 12. but u might get really obsessed with it. i got soo obsessed that my mom took all my twilight things away. i am still hidding things.

i read in a magazine that it was because the movie was more directed to teenagers. i guess to win an Oscar it had to be related to all age groups. but seriously, a TON of people watched it, from 7 year olds to 40 year olds. that's a wide age group.
