Yes, but there should be a monthly limit on how much the phone bill can be. Like 20 dollars or so.
Yes. A 12 year old should have a cell phone. They should be mature enough to handle a cell phone. My daughter's are triplets and they are all very responsible about what they do on there phone. I think that 12 year old's should have a phone.
a lot
no that's way to young!
a toy phone
If your eleven year old is responsible with his other items, then he will likely be okay with a cell phone. If he has an item like a GameBoy that he takes good care of, he should be okay with a simple cell phone.
It's all about responsibility. An eight year old (just an example - the kid you're thinking of probably isn't eight, but if he/she is ... SPOOKY!) isn't going to take very good care of a cell phone (or a mobile, it you're in Britain).
i think they should not have a phone. I think every one should have a phone including kids so they can call there parent and talk if needed help in sticky situations
I believe that you can give a 10 year old a phone as long as it's one that you can program yourself with the numbers for emergency contacts and a few friends. Disney makes a cell phone for kids called a firefly; it has a global positioning system to monitor where your kids are when they go out to play or hang out with friends. You have control over who is able to contact them and whom the child can contact.
Practically speaking, you should get your own cell phone when you already need it. A cell phone provides important functions that even a child who is as young as 10-year-old child can already own one. Money is not much of a problem nowadays as there are already cell phone providers out there who provide affordable cell phone and calling plans. Some people never get a cell phone. Generally though you can get it when you can pay for it yourself.
Sure . . . if the 11 year old proves he/she can be responsible with it. Personally, i think that someone should get a cell phone when they are in grade 10 or entering high school. Your not even allowed to take cell phones to school at the age of 11, so the only time you would be using a cell phone is when you are at home. So why not just use a home phone? Anyone agree?
Take out the back of it pull out the battery and it should tell you
I would look at stores such as Verizon which offer free cell phones with new, two year contracts. Many cell phone providers offer these specials. You should also look at Sprint and wirefly.com.
