I don't see why not. Of course it's up to the parent to make the final decision. I do believe though that 13 year olds should be allowed to play it, assuming they've been around gory games before

The movie Silent Hill is about a woman who loses her daughter. Her goal is to find her daughter. Techincally, the movie was supposed to be based on the game but it was re-written. The actual game is about a man named Harry Mason who has to go through Silent Hill to find his adopted daughter, Cheryl. As the game progresses, Harry starts to discover that Cheryl has a secret connection to Silent Hill. I would suggest that you find the game and play it. You probably won't understand what's going on the first time around but once you play the game multiple times, things should fall into place.
