no you shouldint
There are loads of different types of sheepdog. But do you mean colour, or breed? SOME BREEDS: Border collie (most common, PS I own a border collie named MISTY), Shetland sheepdog, rough collie, smooth collie SOME COLOURS: Blue merlie, red merlie, black and white, tri-colour Type in *info on sheepdogs* on google. I cant name everything right now lol! They originated on the border of England/Wales. By the way, the first ever sheepdog was a tricolour border collie named Meg I hope this was what you wanted!!!
a Blue Merle is a Border Collie that is a whiteish/gray color whit little black spots
a cattle dog kelpie blue heeler border collie
No. The state dog is the blue tick coon hound
I've got one they are grey (like blue)and a broad stance with blue eyes blue eyes for collie and grey broad stance for a Doberman
Not all border collies are black and white. Black and white is the most common combination. However, these dogs are also red andwhite (anywhere from lightest tan to vibrant red to rich brown), tri-color (black, white and light brown tan); and also possible is the rare "merle" coloring which can be described as a mottled or speckled color and can vary in color from red to blue. Their coat can be short, know as a smooth coat, to full and long, know as a rough coat, and anywhere in between. What truly distinguishes a border collie from other "pretty" dogs is its incredible intelligence and drive. Beauty and brains!
yes. especially black and white poodle puppies may change to silver (sometimes blue) or cream, respectively.
its very hard to get a black dog with blue eyes, dogs with blue eyes are usually white but for everything else the only breed i can think of is the Akida, large dog, very similar to the Husky and Malamute breeds and can come in white, black and various other colours and blue eyes are not that rare in the breed
well which dog breed you pick depends on what sort of person you are if you live in a city i would recomend getting a dog that isnt very energetic like a jack russele but you will still need to take it for walks another great family dog is a golden retriever. but if you have a big place like a farm where there is long grass i would recomend a kelpie, blue healer or a border collie
Blue heeler. We have a blue heeler/bc mix and she is the best dog we've ever owned. Smart, loves people, is gentle with kids, and a very fast learner.
Yes. The term "blue" is used to describe the blue-grey coat colour found on some dogs. This "blue" shade is caused by a dilution gene, and is considered a very rare coat colour, even by dog breeds that carry the blue colour. Blue coats can be one solid colour, or part of a pattern such as Blue Merle. Some breeds that carry the blue colour are: Chow Chow, Bearded Collie, Bedlington Terrier, Border Collie, Kerry Blue Terrier, Great Dane, Italian Greyhound, Whippet, Weimaraner.
Mine weighs 80 pounds, but he's a little chubby (quarter collie 3/4 blue heeler). I think it really depends on how tall your dog gets but probably closer to around 70 pounds if they're tall, 65 if he's shorter. That's what my vet told me anyways
