YES YES YES! Bichon's are awesome and really cute!

AND....they don't shed!!! So no fur to clean up and no fur gets on your clothes when you hold them! Plus, they are hypoallergenic which means people who are allergic to dogs are not allergic to Bichons.

If you end up getting a Bichon Frise, I highly suggest you give your Bichon the "puppy cut" when groomed. That what my Bichon has. It is the cutest hairstyle (in my opinion). I think it's much better than the other style with lots of fur. It's cuter, easier for the dog to see, doesn't get tangled or matted as much, etc. But however you cut your Bichon's hair is up to you. I just suggest the "puppy cut".

Bichon's are great dogs. I love my Bichon Frise. She is amazing. The best dog in the world. She is a loving, caring, sweet, protecting dog.

I really suggest you get a Bichon Frise.

You won't regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS- if your Bichon Frise has "tear stains", which are black stains under their eyes or around their mouths, then use the product called Angel Eyes. You can look it up and order online at this website:

It's a great product. It works fantastically. I used it on my Bichon Frise and there are no more tear stains! I highly suggest it. It's probably one of the best tear stain removers out there.

Why does your bichon frise cy all the time?

Bishon's are known as the "cry baby" dogs for the most part because they form extreamly strong bonds with their owners. You can think of a bishon as being like a child with very bad separation issues. But this becomes better with age. Not that having an enthusiastic welcome everytime you leave and enter a room is annoying or anything...

Should you shave a Bishon frise's tail because it is so matted?

If the tail is too matted to brush it out then you need to start over and shave it completely, maybe try to leave a little fluff on the end but if matted, then shave the entire area. Matts can cause infections, you need to get them off of all the body of the dog.

What would cause a bishon friche to get dark round patches on his skin that he doesn't scratch or bite?

My Bichon Frise has always had those big dark patches on her skin underneath her fur. They're nothing to worry about. The vet said they are "freckles". Nothing causes them, they are completely normal. So no worries.
