No - it will make your hair appear even more thick and puffy
suggestion:straighten your hair if you want to go for this hairstyle you can use any 'hair serum' before you use flat irons (ones made from coconut oil are the best)

∙ 12y agoIf u are talking about swoopy bangs, then with thick hair it's very easy to maintain. It does look very cute, its just because your curly hair you MIGHT need to flat iron them. I hope this helps, and I have swoopy bangs, And they look great.

I would say yes if you straighten your side bangs. I suggest you get a small straightener such as the Tigi Bed Head Hook-Up. And some advice... Don't put mousse in your hair if it is puffy. Use LA LOOKS gel instead. I have thick, puffy hair too so I would know. Hope I helped!!!
