Summer camp can be a wonderful experience if you are ready for it. You will meet new people, learn new skills and talents, and challenge yourself. However, many people aren't ready to spend the summer away from their family--especially if it's a sleepaway camp. Camp can be expensive too. There are many wonderful things about going to summer camp, but it's certainly not a necessity to having a good life. You will learn to be confident and independent, and more importantly, you might have the best time of your life!
