We need not follow the west for development.India is a fast developing country and is very rich in raw materials and man power. In the field of science and technology also we are advanced.Countries can imbibe what is good in other countries, but that should not be at the cost of their own culture and traditions.
I would say no because following the west means diminishing our own culture and losing our specialities that we posses. Blindly following unwanted western culture would make our nation's brightness dull. So to remain "sone ki chidiya" forever , we must not adopt unuseful methods of the west.
