when was paint made
that sounds like a cool idea! You should use an oil based primer and paint made for outdoor use. Probably you will spray paint it and all of that info will be on the can. Paint is one part, but preparation is the most important thing because you want what you do to last. I would suggest you scuff up the surface of that ball really well. It may take some kind of metal sander, not just sand paper because those balls have a very hard, very shiny surface and paint will not cling well if the surface is "slick". You might call a bowling store and talk to the guys that polish the balls and drill the holes, etc. They may have some ideas for you on how to rough up the surface. When painting the ball, do so in several thin light layers. If you get too much paint on an area of the ball at one time, it will tend to peel away. Several light thin coats is the trick!
The first paintball gun was made in the 1970s. The orginial purpose was to mark trees. This later evolved more and more into what we have today.
Most guns actually have their maker on the gun itself. Check the side of the gun.
It is nothing that is actually made. Or, if it actually is a paintball marker they made a custom body to cover whatever is underneith, There is no telling
Most paint balls are made with organic materials that decompose very easily. If they are normal paint balls, the paint should come off of the house next time it rains, and if not, soon after.
Cheap, poorly made paintballs are the hardest to break, therefore could hold the most weight on top of them.
