Should Singapore girls serve national service?

In my view point I think that national service should be abolished altogether, as it is a form of unfree labour and it put a strain and tax on the males in singapore, almost every year on average two people die in incamp training whether in suicide or accidents or just a sudden stop of the heart. The national service policy was implemented in the 1967 where woman was the homemaker and expected to take care of children and be housewife and until now the law has not change to take into account that times have changed is due to the still sufficient intake of recruits in the armed forces. Well, to answer your question both man and woman should not serve national service as everything that is force upon or inflicted upon produces resentment and suffering.
