Definitly OUTSIDE. It may be to hot or to cold inside. If your worried about your guinea pig being cold then you shouldn't be, it has hay to snuggle into. Why not inside? here are a few reasons.

. They may die of heart attck if change their habitat

. They might get very hot

. They might get lonley and bored, a outside habitat helps them be entertained

. They may get overweight because they are trapped in one of them tiny cages. They need a 2 storey hutch to get exersize

. They need the grass! Guinea pigs love the grass and outside hutches with no bottoms provide fresh grass for a guinea pig to eat

. They might feel upset about moving inside. They might have freak outs and make loud squeaking noises and constantly nibble at the mesh

These are just 6 of the 100 reasons why guinea pigs should be kept outside

What should you use to stop earwigs getting in and nesting in your guinea pig's outside cage which will not harm him?

You should not keep the cage outside anyway. I suggest getting a new cage and keeping it inside. It may be cold for your guinea pig outside. If you didn't keep the cage outside earwigs would not have got to it.

Your guinea pig is outside and its five days should it be inside or outside?

In winter, your guinea pig should be indoors. Ask someone to help you search for it.

My guinea pig won't eat or drink and she has gunk in her eyes This winter is also very cold and shes been staying outside Is it because of her being outside shes sick?

You should not keep your guinea pig outside in the winter! They're natural climate is not cold and they cannot handle the cold. Your pig probably has a respiratory infection and she needs to see a vet right away. Please, please keep your guinea pig inside, even if it is just in your warm basement. They cannot handle winter weather. put the f%$# guinea pig inside!

How long can a guinea pig live inside for?

There average lifespan i s 5 to 7 years. The above does not address the question. A guinea pig can live inside its entire life, as long as its cage and surroundings are kept clean. If you live in a cold area, it is better to keep your guinea pig inside as they do not tolerate cold very well. A guinea pig is happier living outside in warm temperate regions of the world. Guinea-pigs are grazing animals, which is why they particularly enjoy grazing on the grass outside.

Can guinea pigs sleep outside?

Guinea pigs can stay "outside" as long as they have a hutch of cage that is raised off the ground and may provide shelter for them if it starts to rain, ect. If you are choosing to have a pet guinea pig, It is best to keep them inside if you have the time to clean out their cage 2-3 times a week. If your looking for a low maintence pet, you could always keep them outside. This will affect its behaviour, and I reacently had a guinea pig that died of fright from a snake in our yard. Now I keep all my guinea pigs inside.

Guinea pigs in heat?

If you have a guinea pig that you keep outside you should keep it in the shade...It should be just fine! although if you keep your guinea pig inside they prefer to be in temperatures from 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit i think they mean IN HEAT as in their periods..... if that's what they mean then KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE OPPOSITE SEX! source(s) 2 guinea pigs at home named gizmo and alf!

Where do pet animals live?

It depends on the pet: dog in a kennel outside, or in a dog basket inside. Cat is usually kept indoors. Rabbit and guinea pig in a hutch or pen outside, or in the case of a guinea pig (and a hamster) in a cage inside.
