Only if they are legally incompetent.
Helping the child, well i should say adult, make the right choices and find the right path. The parent should help them less then they did when they were younger.
No, it's up to the court. However, the non custodial parent would traditionally become the custodial parent. The parent should always have first right to their child!
They are still alive? No, they have the right to keep that confidential.
what right does a parent or guardianhave when a 18 year old is still living at home in pennsylvania
Go to the school, bringing necessary documents to prove you are the parent, and find out if the child is still attending school there. Even though you aren't the custodial parent, you do still have a right to know if your child is still enrolled at school. They should be required to tell you, unless there are extenuating circumstances which would prevent them from doing so.
yes
No they do not. You will need someone to have custody of you. And if the parent want their child to stay and be the parent they would not give up their rights. There would be no point. To decide where to live you have to be 18 so this is something your parents decide for you and by giving up his/hers rights they can not make any decisions regarding the child. The only thing they still have a right to do is to pay child support.
That parent still owes the back support. That parent still owes the back support. That parent still owes the back support. That parent still owes the back support.
A parent is the biological or legally adoptive mother or father. If you have lost custody of your child you are still the child's parent in that sense. If you have allowed your child to be legally adopted you may not be in their life but you are still their parent in that sense. In a legal sense you can no longer make any decisions for the child and have no parental rights.
Of course. Unless the non-custodial parent takes sole custody, the non-custodial parent is still responsible for paying child support to whomever the child goes to. There is no reason the death of a parent should terminate the other parent's child support obligation.
Depends on your state laws, plus the other parent can still file an injuntion.
No.Legal Guardians are your Parents.Unless you are signed over to your grand parents, your parents have the right to take you in/out of a school.Sign for your license, or sign for a court case. All in which a grand parent can NOT do without LEGAL Custody. (:
