no because gas is a diffrent form of air that can kill air fliter cant
It should be in the air boot between the air filter box and throttle body (it is a two wire sensor)
It is located over by the air filter's box, if not mounted to it. You should be able to see a plug connected to the hose that connects the throttle body to the air filter housing. That plug is the MAF sensor.
How do you change air filter on 2010 RX 350

That means that the air smells enough for you to actually smell iy and it kinda gets u hungry
It's time to change the Air filter in the unit.
Compressed air used for SCUBA should smell like regular air. There may be a slight rubber smell from the regulator. When in doubt, it is safer to get your tank refilled than to dive on contaminated air.
Leaking fuel filter or fuel filter connections; Plugged, dirty or poorly connected fuel injector(s).
The Cabin Filter affects the quality of the air in the interior of the vehicle (cabin). For some strange reason, the Odyssey has a smell, a strange odor, more like a musty smell you can eliminate by changing the Cabin Filter. Or, you can simply keep the button for "recirculated air" pressed to stop fresh air from coming in. As such, no air will pass the filter to enter your vehicle.
A smell coming from a reverse cycle air conditioner may be a signal that the filter needs to be cleaned. A smell like engine exhaust might be present if the air conditioner motor is in need of repair.
An air conditioner should not smell like smoke when turned on (or when turned off). I would have to suspect that the electrical insulation is burning.
It sits right over the carb, so maybe that needs adjusting. Actually, I know at least in '88-'01 1.8-1.9L escorts do not have a carb, they are fuel injected. My filter housing is connected to a vacuum manifold, and the housing does smell gassy. However, an air filter sitting on a carb could have a small amount of gas in it, or smell like gas. When you start the car, the carb or manifold should create negative air pressure (vacuum) which will basically suck the gas back out. If gas is going INTO your air filter from your carb OR manifold (gas splashing into the filter housing), you should have the carb or manifold checked or adjusted. So, smell/few drops of gas:OK - gas geyser: big problem.
Probably somme oil spilled on engine during filter change or refilling of crankcase. Smell should go away after it burns off. You can just use recirculated air instead of fresh air for the time being..
I'm almost positive they make air fresheners that smell like roses. And if they don't, then they should. If you want to buy some air fresheners (I'm not saying they smell like roses)
The rotten smell comes from the cabin air filter. i have the same smell and it is on my list to get my 2000 v-6 sonata back up to par.
Have the cabin air filter changed.
My 2009 Hyundai has 40K miles and recently started to smell like excrement. Drive the car, turn on the vents, open the windows or gag! Terrible. I changed the cabin air filter, no change.
