animals are protected by law from cruelty, but depending on the hunting season some can be shot. animals such as cats and dogs are NOT allowed to be killed at any time by an untraid professional All animals have a basic right to life, just as humans do. They also have a right to not be subjected to brutal or painful (physical or phsychological) treatment by anyone. If a person notices an animal being treated in bad way by its owners or others, they can report it to the authorities.

1. To be able to chose whether to be used for food or not

2. To be able to roam around the farm every once in a while

3. To be able to not be penned up in a small little caged area

4. To be able to be cared for and loved for as equal as the other animals

5. To be able to not be bossed around by the farmer
