No. It means the cap is not on tight enough. The coolant tank could also have a leak.
It should say on the filler tank, ther are new ones out that can blend, but is your car under warranty, then if so stay with the recommended and if it is not on the filler tank it should be in the owners manual

blowback is caused by adding fuel to fast. the filler neck is not large enuff to allow air from the tank to escape as fuel is being put in tank. remedy this by filling fuel tank slower.you can also drive onto a wooden block with wheel closest to tank filler. this tips vehicle and helps air escape
