Hardcore rock/paper/scissors, or Extreme rock/paper/scissors, is a recent trend that has been spreading in schools, and involves taking rock/paper/scissors to the next level. It works like this. If one wins using rock (for example, one has rock and the other has scissors,) then the winner is allowed to punch the other person in the arm. If one wins using paper (they have paper and the other person has rock,) then the winner is allowed to slap the other person on the arm. If one wins with scissors (they have scissors and the other person has paper,) then the winner is allowed to slap them using just their index finger and middle finger, OR to poke them in the chest with their index finger and middle finger. Currently, adults seem unaware of the trend, as children enjoy the game, despite the pain, and do not want adults to find out about it.
Instead of tearing a paper, you can use scissors in order for you to cut the paper the style you want but more orderly.:) If you are in a hurry, you can use scissors to cut things.:)
In general, scissors with blades shorter than 4 inches (measured from the pivot point to the tip) are allowed in carry-on luggage by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the United States. However, scissors with longer blades are prohibited. It's always a good idea to check the specific regulations of the airline and the country you're traveling to, as rules may vary.
I toss them in with the knives and forks.
