It's not that it's bad. It's just that the nutrient profile of Centrum Silver is designed to meet the nutrient need of the older adult. An 18 year-old has a different nutrient profile and most likely won't get what s/he needs to maintain good health -- unless this person has a good diet and are getting the nutrients needed from foods. In this case, supplementation wouldn't be necessary.
