When they're babies, they shed often, about once a month. When they're adults they only shed a few times a year.
Corn snakes live mostly in North American territorys. They prefer overgrown fields, forest openings, and abandoned buildings and farms. Have any more qeustions about corn snakes? I know a lot about them. I also have a lot of them.
You don't actually tame them you just increase their tolerance of being handled. When handling you want to make sure to touch all over, especially the face. With a lot of handling you will find that corn snakes are very easy to get along with.
This statement about all snakes lay eggs is incorrect. Actually there are a few species of snakes that do not lay eggs.. Example, my Columbian Boa's do not lay eggs.. My Boa gives birth to live baby snakes... A lot of snakes lay eggs, but no all of them. As for the Corn Snakes, Yes they do lay eggs. I have had several corn snakes, and they do lay eggs.
Yes - the sloughing process takes a lot out of a snake in terms of the energy used, and the loss of some vitamins. Most snakes will readily feed a day or so after they shed.
depends on how much fur your dog has if your dog has a lot of fur it should shed a lot if your dog is well groomed it should shed but not as often
its possible but corn snakes ideally need a wooden vivarium to keep the heat in and because its a baby corn you will need a lot of decorum (shelters, plants, hides ect.) because corn snakes love to be under/inside things and especially if you house the corn in the glass tank it will need alot of hiding places to make it feel safe and also will need to be placed in an area that doesnt have alot of movement outside because corn snakes are quite shy. hope that helped :)
Snakes shed when they outgrow their skin. How frequently depends upon the age of the snake and how well it has been eating. Younger snakes, well fed, will shed more frequently than older snakes who do not grow as rapidly. The young snakes will shed several times in their first year of life while adults may shed only once or twice in a year.
Yes. Unless one is a lot bigger than the other, they will not hurt/bother one another.
