Dear Writer that sent this question :)I don't think dog fur should be aloud on coats because they are living animals not toys so you wouldn't just go and rip up a Kitten up and bin the kitten then keep it's fur and make it into a coat, Or they wouldn't do it to a Rabbit or a Gunipig so they Deffenetly shouldn't do it to dog's. It depends on where you live, how long and thick your dog's hair is, how long he stays outside, etc. Some dogs don't need coats even in very cold weather, and others shiver themselves to bits in moderately cool temperatures. The smaller your dog, the faster he loses body heat. On the other hand, a tiny Pomeranian has a heavy fur coat and a greyhound, which is much larger, has very short hair. Does your dog just run quickly outside to do his business and run right back in, or does he stay outside all day while you're at work? In most climates, it gets a lot colder at night--does he stay outside at night a lot? And are we talking Alaska or Arizona? Your dog will help you decide if you watch how he acts.
