If the old mounts were compressed over the years, there could be a small lift of the engine with new mounts. If the lift is more than an inch or so, you should check that the proper mounts were installed.
Yes, the mounting position is the same, but the actual mounts are different. Bolt the mounts from your 1975 corvette to your 1996 LT1 engine and it should go right in. The transmission should also bolt right up to your 1996 LT1 engine.
The 1995 Dodge Neon engine mounts are located on each corner of the engine. There will be to engine mounts in the front and two engine mounts in the rear.
You should check your motor mounts
it is a fairly simple swap motor mounts should be the same you can use the same tranny if you like or not mounts are the same
Engines are held into the vehicle with "motor mounts"... although they should probably be called "engine mounts". Motor mounts can go bad and the engine can move excessively. If a motor mount has failed, take it to just about any reputable mechanic and it can be replaced.
it has 4 mounts , 2 engine mounts, and 2 transmission mount
It should be fairly straightforward if you put a set of v8 mounts on the engine and drop it in to the engine bay. Hook it up to the transmission, level the rocker covers, and mark the holes for the mounts. Then you can take the engine back out, install the mounts, and reinstall the engine. That year was available with a v8, so you should be able to use factory accessory brackets.
small block and big block motor mounts are the same, so you should be able to take V8 motor mounts from most any Chevy engine bay.
how many engine mounts are there on a 1991 corolla.
About $12 a piece (accents have four engine mounts) plus labor.
How much should it cost to replace engine mounts on a 1997 audia4 quattro
