I painted mine. It's best to wipe them off/out first, else you'll paint the dirt too. I put painter's tape all around it and if spray painting (easiest for these), I also put a wider painting cloth around as well because the paint travels airborne. Apply 2 coats. I've used spray paint and regular wall paint. Apply first coat, let it dry for a day, then apply second coat.
Don't paint your house, paint your neighbors house!!!

Paint cracking is a great technique to create that old feeling of a house. This is a special paint you can buy that when the paint dries, it creates the cracked paint look.
It depends on the base of the paint. If it's an ordinary house paint, you should be able to peel it off.

You should repaint your house every ten years. That is the average normal cycle to repaint your house.
bring it to the paint store thei'll match it
If the rest of the houses in the neighborhood are sided, then your house should possibly be too, for resale. If the siding is in good shape, and you only need to paint every 8 years or so, then you might want to consider paint.
I should add, no chlorine in water.
Painting a house should be bid by the job, not by the hour. You are being paid to paint, not clean up your equipment.
If it's a terest house then I would paint it cream/ dark cream. This is bound to please most people and is a warming colour.
I would like to paint a beach house in a sunny, vibrant colour. However,I would also like it to be tasteful and in keeping with the neighbourhood.
