No, the scriptures tells us that woman are not permitted to preach in pulpit.

Opinion

Of course. Women and men are humans and both have the experiences to share, perspectives to share, strengths and weaknesses. Women provide a much needed outpouring of female spirituality and leadership. The Scriptures written by men were chosen in the distant past to be brought forward. The role of women in the development of world religions has been ignored and suppressed by mainstream denominations. The Scriptures should not be used in the modern world to exclude women. Many denominations embrace female religious leaders.

That depends upon your religion.

In some religions, women are considered to be At Fault for the sins visited upon Mankind and as such they are looked upon as inferior to men and unclean in some regards, in others they are simply considered "unworthy" to have the same authority as a man.

In other religions, they are held in high esteem for being the ones who can bare children, ie, they have the gift of life.

In still others, they are held in high regards as the Mothers of all, meaning they look out for the common good and should be consulted on such matters involving the common good.
