YES!
Unless, of course, the child(ren) is yours. If the child is yours, and your girlfriend is jealous when you babysit, shame on her; you might reconsider that relationship.
If the child(ren) isn't yours but you are close to him/her and the child trusts you, it's still an important relationship. You could make arrangements with the child's mother to watch him/her at your place and your girlfriend can be there when the child arrives and departs.
