The speed sensor is not expensive and is easy to replace.
The brakes on the Villager are as straight forward as the brakes on a 1965 Mercury. Only normal brake tools are required.
Torx T 40 socket
This vehicle does not have a bleed valve, it is not needed.
Not needed as the thermostat is on top of the engine on the right.
On my '93 Mercury Villager is a T40 Torx it should be the same on your '96 Quest.
There isn't one. The engine sits below the radiator, one is not needed.
You would need to be more specific with your question. You are not providing enough information to supply a meaningful answer.
The 1998 Ford/Mercury Villager came equipped in the 3.0L V6. For this application 0W30 and 5W30 are specified for all-season use. 10W40 may result in decreased fuel economy and is not needed for this application. No damage will be sustained if 10W40 is run or used as top-off.
I can't provide images, but you can find pictures of the exhaust system on a 2002 Mercury Villager by searching online through automotive forums, parts retailers, or websites like eBay or Google Images. Additionally, a repair manual for the vehicle may include diagrams or images of the exhaust system. If needed, visiting a local mechanic or dealership could also provide visual references.
It's in the center of the block. Engine disassembly needed. <><><><><> Not certain, but I thought knock sensors were mounted to the head or intake manifold in such a way that they could be replaced without major disassembly.
Torx are almost never used on calipers. I think you will find a 7mm Allen key is needed for that year Mercury. Hard to see as it is covered by a rubber cup.
Life cannot exist on Mercury.
